About the Trip
This 2 hour guided paddle will take you into the backwaters of Palm Valley. Paddle through vast marshes, luscious oak hammocks, and creeks only accessible by kayak/SUP. Imagine what Palm Valley was like before civilization and learn about history of the Intracoastal Waterway and Palm Valley. Available Weekends only, excluding the first Saturday of every month.
What does my tour include?
Your tour includes vessel rental, paddle, safety equipment, 2 awesome guides, and a whole lot of fun. We have Single Kayaks, Tandem Kayaks, and SUP's available for your adventure.
What will I see?
On this trip you will encounter a wide variety of wildlife including friendly manatees, curious dolphins, beautiful wading birds, colorful crabs, and maybe even an alligator.
What should I bring?
While we supply your basic adventure gear, you may want to bring some other things to make yourself feel more comfortable. Some of these items may include (but are not required):
- Sunscreen/Protective Clothing
- Bug Repellent
- Waterproof Box or Bag for your Phone (You will get wet!)
- Water/Snacks/Beverage (This is only 2 hours, but some people like to party!)
- A Sense of Adventure!
Remember, we are taking you onto the water. There is always a chance that you could get wet, or fall out of the vessel. We advise that you do not bring any valuables such as expensive electronics (like that super cool Tablet you just got last week) that are unprotected, high end jewelry that you do not want to lose (like that 220 Kt Diamond Ring you've been showing off) and please do not wear clothes that can't get dirty (Like that white Tux you've been dying to wear!) We do our best to keep you in your vessels and not in the water, but ultimately you are responsible for controlling your vessel.
Where do we meet?
The Palm Valley Daylight Trip meets at the Palm Valley Boat Ramp on your requested time and date. We do our best to accommodate your requests but may have to revise the plans according to last minute weather and tide conditions. We will not go out on tours if weather conditions are too dangerous. Our main goal is to keep everyone safe while having fun!
