Go Flow Water Gravity Bag with Versa Flow Water Filter

We got a cool new tool for our adventures and we want to tell everyone about it.

Both of us like to go on treks and paddles into remote areas to explore new territory and collect wild trash. On our journeys clean drinking water is not always easy to come by. In Florida, the springs may be pristine, but they have contaminants from animals and humans you don't want to ingest.

We were in the market for a small water filtration system which would provide clean water for multiple people. What we found is the Go Flow Water Gravity Bag with Versa Flow Water Filter from HydroBlu.

The Go Flow Water Gravity Bag is a 10 liter food-grade thermoplastic polyurethane plastic bag with a quick release valve fused into the side. A 35 inch hose is included with a pre-installed quick connect that attaches easily to the valve on the gravity bag. There is also a hose clamp to help control the water flow as needed. The gravity bag can be filled with water and then sealed with the nylon strap reinforced roll-top style closure. This makes it so you can load up on water, connect the shoulder strap, and head back to the campsite with more than enough water. Once at your campsite you can use the shoulder strap to hang the bag on a sturdy branch. Then just attach a Versa Flow Ultra-filtration Hollow Fiber filter or other gravity style filter to the hose and let the clean water flow. We also like to use our Go Flow Water System as a small solar shower. The black bag helps absorb heat from the sun so if you hang a bag of water in a sunny spot long enough you can get a warm water rinse down!

The filtration part of this system is the Versa Flow Light-Weight Water Filter. This is probably one of the most versatile filters on the market. You can use it as a straw, screw it on to a plastic water bottle, use it inline with a hydration pouch, or hook it up to a gravity bag like the Go Flow. This little filter weighs only 2 ounces and fits almost anywhere. The filter consists of tons of tiny tubes called hollow fiber, these hollow fibers have thousands of tiny holes all over them which block 99.9999% of harmful bacteria, Giardia, E Coli and a bunch of other stuff you don't want. If the filter slows and seems to be clogged simply back flush the filter by flushing clean water the opposite way and clear out the contaminates. With proper care this filter can last forever.

This is a great filtration system for adventurers and preppers. The whole system including Versa Flow filter weighs in at 8.8 ounces and will fit inside a small included 5 by 9 inch cloth pouch. This means you can keep one in your truck, RV, or cabin just in case.
