For those that don't know - Rex the Dino is a large orange dino statue with glowing red eyes in Jacksonville, Florida on Beach Blvd. Located in front of what is now a strip mall, Rex was originally a part of a mini golf course called "Goony Golf" in the 60's. When the strip mall was updated, property managers discussed finding a new home for the dino, but fortunately everyone showed their love for Rex and he is now a beloved member of the Jacksonville community.
